V r. 1919 vstoupila k bos\u00fdm karmelitk\u00e1m v El Escorialu, u\u017e o p\u011bt let pozd\u011bji v\u0161ak zalo\u017eila nov\u00fd kl\u00e1\u0161ter v Cerro de Los Angeles a postupn\u011b dal\u0161\u00edch dev\u011bt kl\u00e1\u0161ter\u016f ve \u0160pan\u011blsku a jeden v Indii. B\u00fdv\u00e1 pova\u017eov\u00e1na za jednu z nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00edch mysti\u010dek 20. stolet\u00ed. Zem\u0159ela 11. prosince 1974 v kl\u00e1\u0161te\u0159e La Aldehuela.<\/p>\n<p>P\u0159esto\u017ee kladla velk\u00fd d\u016fraz na obnovu p\u016fvodn\u00edho p\u0159\u00edsn\u00e9ho \u017eivota Karmelu, na modlitbu a umrtvov\u00e1n\u00ed, zaj\u00edmala se i o probl\u00e9my sv\u00e9ho okol\u00ed a hledala pro n\u011b praktick\u00e1 \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed. Z klauzury v Aldehuele dok\u00e1zala zalo\u017eit \u0161kolu a ubytovnu pro chud\u00e9 d\u011bti, dokonce celou jednu \u010dtvr\u0165 s t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 dv\u011bma stovkami obydl\u00ed a k nim kostel a spol\u00e9hala p\u0159itom velmi na pomoc Bo\u017e\u00ed proz\u0159etelnosti.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Nechci sv\u016fj \u017eivot k ni\u010demu jin\u00e9mu ne\u017e abych j\u00edm co nejv\u00edce napodobila \u017eivot Krist\u016fv,&#8220; psala. Usilovala o radik\u00e1ln\u00ed chudobu sv\u00fdch kl\u00e1\u0161ter\u016f, d\u00e1vala p\u0159ednost mal\u00fdm nen\u00e1ro\u010dn\u00fdm budov\u00e1m a manu\u00e1ln\u00ed pr\u00e1ci, kter\u00e1 m\u011bla jej\u00ed sestry \u017eivit nam\u00edsto obvykl\u00fdch rent a v\u011bn. Sestry na n\u00ed obdivovaly jej\u00ed vyrovnanost, klid, velkou sesterskou l\u00e1sku, s n\u00ed\u017e dok\u00e1zala b\u00fdt pozorn\u00e1 ke v\u0161em bez rozd\u00edlu. Byla napln\u011bn\u00e1 pokojnou radost\u00ed, dok\u00e1zala jednat s druh\u00fdmi v\u017edy vl\u00eddn\u011b, bez n\u00e1tlaku, v\u017edy se zaj\u00edmala o n\u00e1zor ostatn\u00edch. B\u00fdvala \u010dasto nemocn\u00e1, a p\u0159esto neslevovala z kaj\u00edc\u00edch gest (v jej\u00edch kl\u00e1\u0161terech se dodnes netop\u00ed, neexistuje televize, r\u00e1dio, noviny ad.), nap\u0159. od\u0159\u00edk\u00e1n\u00ed si sp\u00e1nku (sp\u00e1vala jen kr\u00e1tce, leh\u00e1vala p\u0159itom oble\u010den\u00e1 na podlaze). Modlitbu pova\u017eovala za nesm\u00edrn\u011b d\u016fle\u017eitou. Jej\u00ed spiritualita byla bl\u00edzk\u00e1 sv. Janovi od K\u0159\u00ed\u017ee a p\u0159esto\u017ee o sob\u011b \u010dasto prohla\u0161ovala, \u017ee je &#8222;h\u0159\u00ed\u0161n\u00e9 nic&#8220;, pro\u017e\u00edvala i stavy \u00fat\u011bchy a c\u00edtila se velmi milovan\u00e1 P\u00e1nem.
