Z toho vypl\u00fdv\u00e1, jak m\u016f\u017ee\u0161 p\u0159i podrobn\u011bj\u0161\u00edm pohledu poznat, \u017ee ti nejsv\u011bt\u011bj\u0161\u00ed lid\u00e9 byli nepokorn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Kapitolu o poko\u0159e kladu v\u011bdom\u011b na toto m\u00edsto, proto\u017ee chci uk\u00e1zat, jak velice se podob\u00e1 podstat\u011b kontemplace. Nebo\u0165 jestli\u017ee spr\u00e1vn\u011b uva\u017euje\u0161, spo\u010d\u00edv\u00e1 prav\u00e1 neporu\u0161itelnost du\u0161e v poko\u0159e. Tato n\u00e1doba srdce, kterou pokora uzdravila a kter\u00e1 v sob\u011b ukr\u00fdv\u00e1 v\u0161e, co m\u016f\u017ee obs\u00e1hnout, m\u00e1 zvl\u00e1\u0161tn\u00ed schopnost: m\u016f\u017ee r\u016fst, ani\u017e by se stala k\u0159ehkou, a tak p\u0159ib\u00fdv\u00e1 spo\u0159\u00e1dan\u011b na velikosti, \u017ee p\u0159ij\u00edma st\u00e1le v\u00edce milosti Bo\u017e\u00ed. Na to upom\u00edn\u00e1 n\u00e1\u0161 nadpis, kter\u00fd prav\u00ed: Pokora je z\u00e1kladem duchovn\u00edho r\u016fstu.<\/p>\n<p>Mnoz\u00ed rozum\u00ed pokorou omezenost srdce a v\u0161edn\u00ed malomysln\u00e9 zalo\u017een\u00ed \u010dlov\u011bka, kter\u00e9ho zaj\u00edm\u00e1 jen nepodstatn\u00e9. Drz\u00ed mysl\u00ed, \u017ee pokora je jen uboh\u00e9 vzez\u0159en\u00ed a pon\u00ed\u017eenost, kter\u00e1 se projevuje v chov\u00e1n\u00ed, obl\u00e9k\u00e1n\u00ed a vystupov\u00e1n\u00ed. V\u0161echny tyto n\u00e1zory jsou klamn\u00e9 a nemaj\u00ed s pokorou nic spole\u010dn\u00e9ho.<\/p>\n<p>Abys z\u00edskal nyn\u00ed tu\u0161en\u00ed o majest\u00e1tnosti t\u00e9to vlastnosti, mus\u00ed\u0161 v\u011bd\u011bt, \u017ee pokora a velkodu\u0161nost jsou dv\u011b velmi se miluj\u00edc\u00ed sestry a dru\u017eky, tak\u017ee se jedna bez druh\u00e9 neobejde. Jsou to dv\u011b k\u0159idla, jimi\u017e nev\u011bsta, tj. du\u0161e, vzl\u00e9t\u00e1 k Bohu a ub\u00edr\u00e1 se do samoty kontemplace. Tak jako chudoba ducha se nezastav\u00ed u pohrd\u00e1n\u00ed v\u011bcmi pozemsk\u00fdmi, ale kr\u00e1c\u00ed k bohatstv\u00edm pozemsk\u00fdm, nespokojuje se pokora pohrd\u00e1n\u00edm poctami, ale kr\u00e1\u010d\u00ed k vzne\u0161enosti ducha.<\/p>\n<p>Pozdvihni, brat\u0159e, sv\u00e9 o\u010di, abys poznal velikost ctnosti pokory.
